The western sections of the route are shown here and on Google Maps. I have since discovered a route between Seri Thai Soi 83 and 93 which follows the lakes to the north of Seri Thai road. So it is possible to ride most of the way between Bangkapi and western Minburi off road. The nicest part of the route is Bungkum Water Park, a nicely landscaped park between Seri Thai Sois 43 and 57. It features some of the best public toilets in the city!
